Suggestions

Suggestions are provided only as a guide to the many uses of TweetMint Enzyme Cleaner.

Directions

Measure and mix the required amounts of TweetMint and water together. Each task is different, so start with a basic dilution from the table above and then adjust ratio according to your particular needs. TweetMInt can be applied using a Sprayer or other watering device. After applying, allow time for the enzymatic action to develop. Repeat application if necessary. Always test first in an inconspicuous place.

Garden/Indoor Plants

Dilute ½ oz. concentrate per quart of water. Lightly mist individual plant leaves using a Spray Bottle, or use a Hose Sprayer at a mixing ratio of 1 oz. concentrate per gallon of water when covering large areas such as organic gardens, orchards, farm crops.

Carpet Shampoo

Dilute 1 oz. concentrate per gallon of warm or hot water when using wet vacs, carpet cleaners and steamers. Remember to first dry vacuum carpets before beginning shampoo cleaning, and to allow time for the cleaner’s enzymatic action to work. For deeper cleaning, add a ½ to 1 cup of borax per gallon to produce better results. For stubborn stains, use ½ oz. concentrate per quart of hot water and allow to stand 30 min. before blotting dry. Always test first for color fastness in an inconspicuous area of the carpeting or fabric.

Stain and Odor Removal

Dilute ½ oz. concentrate per quart of water. Apply to furniture, drapery, or carpeting using a Spray Bottle or towel. Allow time for enzymatic action to work. Then rinse and blot dry with a rag. For stubborn stains or odors, try using a stronger dilution of concentrate and allow to soak overnight. Always test first for color fastness in an inconspicuous area of the garment or upholstery.

Pet Stains and Odor

Dilute 1 oz. concentrate per gallon of warm or hot water to remove animal stains and odors from carpeting and furniture using steamers, sprayers or towels.

Laundry Machine

Brighten and freshen your laundry without the use of harsh bleach. Add 1 to 2 oz. of concentrate to a load before adding clothes.

Kennels/Stables/Pens

For deodorizing stables, kennels and trailers, use a garden hose and Hose Sprayer attachment at a mixing ratio of 2 oz. concentrate per gallon water or stronger.

Drains/Grease Traps

Pour 1 to 2 oz. concentrate down drain, allow to stand 30 minutes, then flush with boiling water.

Glass/Mirrors

Dilute ½ oz. concentrate per quart of water. Use a Spray Bottle. If streaking occurs, dilute the solution with additional water.

Toilet Bowl

Apply 1 oz. concentrate to toilet bowl and let stand for 30 minutes before brushing and flushing with hot water.

Hazards Identification and First Aid Measures

Routes of Entry: Product may enter the body via eye contact, skin contact and ingestion.  See Section 8.
Potential Health Effects:
          Eye: Eye contact may cause irritation.  Avoid eye contact with product.
          Skin: Skin contact may cause irritation.  In case of skin irritation, wash with soap and water and discontinue use.
          Ingestion: Swallowing may cause irritation of mouth and throat.  It may also cause nausea.  Do not taste or swallow product.
First Aid Measures:  
Eye Contact: If irritation is noted, immediately flush eyes with a directed stream of water for at least 15 minutes while forcibly holding eyelids apart to ensure complete irrigation of all eye and lid tissue.  Get immediate medical attention if irritation occurs.
Skin Contact: Flush skin with water and wash with soap and water.  If clothing is penetrated, immediately remove clothing and flush skin with water.  Wash clothes before resuse.  Get immediate medical attention if irritation occurs.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting.  If spontaneous vomiting is inevitable, prevent aspiration by keeping victim’s head below the knees. Get immediate medical attention if ingestion occurs.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.  If breathing is difficult, have trained person administer oxygen.  If respiration stops, have trained person administer mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.  Get immediate medical attention if irritation occurs.

Handling and Storage

Storage Temperature: Store this product below 120º F. (40º C.), preferably below 75º F. (24º C), in a cool, dry, well venailated area away from heat, sparks, flames, oxiders and out of direct sunlight.  For best results use within 12 months.  Never co-mingle with bactericides or quatemary disinfectants, as they will degrade/inactivate enzymes.  
General Precautions: Keep container closed when handling or storage.

Ingredients

Purified water, anionic/nonionic surfactant blend, glycerin, enzymes, peppermint oil, sodium borate

TweetMint Enzyme Cleaner comes standard with peppermint, but is available in Unscented.

Dilution Rates

TweetMint Enzyme Cleaner is a concentrate – a little goes a long way when diluted with water. One gallon of TweetMint will produce up to 256 light-dilution batches of cleaner.

Light Dilution: Add 0.5 oz. – 1 oz. TweetMint concentrate per gallon of water.
Mid Dilution: Add 1 oz. – 2 oz. TweetMint concentrate per gallon of water.
Strong Dilution: Add 2 + oz. TweetMint concentrate per gallon of water.

TweetMint concentrate can be diluted with water to perform all variety of duties.
Always add the TweetMint concentrate after filling water first to prevent foaming.
