Terramin Clay - Holistic Healing & Detoxification

Buy Terramin ClayTerramin is made from pure, high-grade, edible Calcium Montmorillonite clay. It is a powerful trace mineral supplement containing a combination of more than 60 macro, micro and essential trace mineral elements in a 100% natural form. Terramin clay acts as a catalyst to enhance healing, growth, digestion and detoxification.

Calcium montmorillonite is 100% natural, and has been used for centuries by Native Americans to restore health in a variety of settings, including the treatment of wounds. In examining the unique curative properties of this clay, researchers have now discovered that calcium montmorillonite is capable of helping all living things by removing the toxins ingested from food grown in chemically saturated fields and restoring the much needed minerals to our overburdened depleted soil.

When clay is consumed, its vital force is released into the physical body and mingles with the vital energy of the body, creating a stronger, more powerful energy in the host. Its particles are agents of stimulation and transformation capable of withholding and releasing energy at impulse. The natural magnetic action transmits a remarkable power to the organism and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy. When it is in contact with the body, its very nature compels it to release its vital force: the same vital force from which so many plants and animals feed.

Therefore, in order to create health, the body must be stimulated and restimulated by another working energy, like clay. When the immune system does not function at its best, the clay stimulates the body's inner resources to awaken the stagnant energy. It supplies the body with the available magnetism to run well.

The best-known characteristic of clay is that it "acts as needed". Clay is said to propel the immune system to find a new healthy balance. Reactions are not forced, but rather triggered into effect as they are needed. To put it into other words, clay simply strengthens the body to a point of higher resistance. In this way, the body's natural immune system has an improved chance of restoring and maintaining health.

Terramin 100% Natural Living Clay is a rich source of calcium and a other trace minerals. Trace minerals activate our enzyme systems and the biological functions that underlie nearly every manifestation of our lives. Terramin replenishes the body's essential minerals and macro/micro nutrients, where their absence may occur from soil depletion and genetically modified foods.

Calcium montmorillonite, the second type of montmorillonite, is also known as "living clay" for it principally consists of minerals that enhance the production of enzymes in all living organisms. California Earth Minerals calcium montmorillonite is called Terramin. It is the preferred choice to use for soil, plants, animals and humans, especially when ingested, hence "edible clays. " Benefits of calcium montmorillonite minerals have been documented in research conducted by many scientists and leading universities. Dr. B.H. Ershoff, from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, conducted research for NASA which demonstrated the growth promoting properties of calcium montmorillonite minerals in cattle. Dr. Quisenberry, from Texas A&M, researched the beneficial effects of calcium montmorillonite clays when fed to many farm animals including horses, pigs, chickens, etc. Neva Jensen, a nationally known nutrition expert, wrote a book on Terramin called "The Healing Power of Living Clay," explaining how the nutrients in certain clays are assimilated in our bodies. The US Department of Fish and Wildlife conducted similar studies on trout fish on the Snake River in Hagerman , Idaho revealing the same health promoting effects. All of these studies were specific to Terramin.

The practice of using the Earth to heal people is known as Pelotherapy, and many such healing clays are used today in hydrotherapy, balneology, and natural, holistic medicine.

The benefits of Terramin are due to the mineral content or trace elements which are vital to the cellular functions of all forms of living creatures. Perfect health can only be obtained by a diet which supplies a proper balance of essential nutrients. Trace mineral elements are necessary for vitamins and enzymes to function. Without enzymes the body can not activate certain chemical processes like digestion or the synthesis of proteins within cells.

Modern agricultural practices jeopardize our health. Our farming techniques use the soil over and over for high yield mass production, depleting the soil and the crops of vital essential elements. As soil health declines, crop health falters and farmers become increasingly reliant upon synthetic petroleum-based fertilizers to artificially replenish the soil with nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium (NPK); only three essential elements. The tradeoff for adding synthetic enhancers is that the living soil remains deprived of naturally occurring bacteria that produce nitrogen, thus the soil is dying and crops actually become dependent on artificial fertilizer to sustain life. Aquifers are now contaminated with nitrates that were leached from farmlands. The combination of leaching from rain and irrigation, overuse of the land, and chemical fertilizers deteriorates the level of nutrients in our soil. As a result, most of the food grown is deficient in trace mineral elements. The few trace mineral elements that remain are removed during processing, e.g., the milling of wheat.

Terramin can help to improve our health; from replenishing our soil with vital essential elements, to improving the vitality of our plant and animal foods, and by removing toxins from our bodies. Native Americans knew this. Animals instinctively know this. Scientific, medical, and agricultural research has proven this. Use life-promoting TERRAMIN.

Studies show that trace minerals are the constituents found most necessary to every cell and its corresponding enzyme systems. Trace minerals speed the rate of chemical reactions to create movement, and are necessary for vitamins and enzymes to function. Without enzymes the body cannot activate certain chemical processes like digestion or the cellular synthesis of proteins.

Proven to be a powerful detoxifying agent and high nutrient source, Terramin is a gift of life from nature. Its application can do wonders to resolve adverse conditions in our waterways, soils, and crops, as well as the human body. Terramin has no contraindications-and is even safe during pregnancy.

The power to improve your health is available with Terramin. Take healing into your own hands.

Internal Uses

Bentonite Clay Taken Orally: Using uncontaminated healing clays internally can be advantageous for general health. Traditionally, only small amounts of bentonite clay are required to achieve the following health benefits:

  • Detoxification of digestive system (the sorptive action pulls contaminants from the body)
  • Fixes free oxygen in the blood stream (occurs once liver is restored to full function)
  • Elimination of internal parasites, organic and non-organic toxicity
  • Stomach aches and bacterial food poisoning
  • Immune system support
  • Increases T-cell count
  • Fights free radicals
  • Mercury poisoning
  • Trace mineral supplement
  • Alkalizing agent in the body

Internal Cleanse, Detoxification: Either take one Terramin tablet for every 50 pounds of own body weight, or drink one rounded teaspoon of Terramin clay powder mixed in 6-8 oz. of distilled water or juice, daily. For best results, take on an empty stomach. Eytons' Earth recommends taking the clay at night so it can work unopposed with other food eaten during the day.

Dr. Anderson recommends that when taking bentonite clay internally, one should always accompany it with Psyllium Husk, a source of fiber. The reason for this is that some people fear that the clay could get lodged in the intestine. It is not known for certain if this has ever occurred, but, just to be safe, include a psyillium husk fiber supplement when taking bentonite clay orally. Dr. Anderson suggests this because psyllium is known to help regularity and to prevent undesirable inorganic minerals from entering the system.

External Uses

Bentonite clay is used in health spas for facial masks and full body wraps for deep dermal cleansing and rejuvenation because it purifies the skin by removing oils and impurities. Bentonite can also be used topically to alleviate abrasions, wounds, painful stings, sore muscles and other skin ailments.

Preparation of Clay Packs and Wraps: Mix the powdered clay by slowly adding distilled water until a smooth consistency is formed. Allow time for the clay to set up; clay should be stiff yet pliable. This state is often referred to as a gelled clay. Any unused clay should be promptly covered and kept in a glass jar or sealable container to retain its moisture.

Facial Mask: To 1 rounded teaspoon of Terramin powder, add enough water or milk to make a loose, aqueous mixture that can be applied with a brush or fingers. Apply a thin layer and allow to dry for 10-15 minutes or longer. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Clay Bath Directions for Detoxifying (Heavy metals, pesticides, poisons)
Information Provided by Perry A. Smith

Add up to 2 cups of powdered bentonite clay (but not more than 2½ cups) into the bathtub and then run very hot water over the clay, as hot as it gets. Use a wire whisk to stir the clay around and to help it dissolve. Once you've got about 3 inches of water in the tub and the clay is dissolved, start adding cooler water until the water reaches the desired temperature.

The bath should neither be too hot nor too cool, but should be nice and warm, as warm as is comfortable. Bathing time depends upon your condition, but can be anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. Please don't overdo it! If you stay in too long you may have what is known as a cleansing reaction and experience fatigue, headaches, muscle soreness, etc.

Another option is to take about a cup of extra thick liquid bentonite clay and put it into the bath water. Others have used a full quart and more. It is highly effective in drawing out toxins. But too much, or too long exposure, will dry out the skin. If so, follow the bath by applying a body lotion.

In Energy to Heal by Wendell Hoffman and through his own research, Hoffman found that a pure high-grade bentonite clay used in a bath can actually draw out toxic chemicals through the pores of the skin. After many experiments, he concluded that optimum results are obtained by immersing oneself in a tub of very warm water mixed with a very pure bentonite clay for exactly 20 minutes! Not just any clay will do. It is crucial to use clean, uncontaminated clay.

Extreme amounts of bentonite clay used in a bath have been known to help the body detox from severe heavy metal poisoning; one can tell, because if it works, the clay turns black (from Eytons' Earth). Some people may notice the clay turns dark and may even take on a tar like consistency. Use rubber gloves and scoop out as much clay as possible and then clean the bath tub. Usually 1 – 2 baths is sufficient to draw out the toxins.

Clay baths using 1 cup of powdered bentonite clay or 1 cup of thick liquid clay is good for soaking tired, sore muscles.

In the Clay Cure, Knishinsky writes that clay is part of his diet and he never skips a day without eating clay. He writes “When clay is consumed, its vital force is released into the physical body and mingles with the vital energy of the body, creating a stronger, more powerful energy in the host. The natural magnetic action transmits a remarkable power to the organism and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy. When the immune system does not function at its best, the clay stimulates the body's inner resources to awaken the stagnant energy. It supplies the body with the available magnetism to run well. Clay is said to propel the immune system to find a new healthy balance and strengthens the body to a point of higher resistance.”

Bentonite clay's adsorptive and absorptive qualities may be the key to its multifaceted healing abilities. Knishinsky reports that drinking clay helped him eliminate painful ganglion cysts (tumors attached to joints and tendons, in his case, in his wrist) in two months, without surgery.

Bentonite Clay is one of the most effective natural intestinal detoxifying agents available and has been recognized as such for centuries by native peoples around the world. Whatever the name, liquid clay contains minerals that, once inside the gastrointestinal tract, are able to absorb toxins and deliver mineral nutrients to an impressive degree, says Knishinsky. Liquid clay is inert, which means it passes through the body undigested.

Knishinsky's research suggests that the regular intake of liquid bentonite clay (typically 1 to 3 tablespoons daily, in divided doses) can produce other benefits including parasite removal from the intestines, allergy and hay fever relief, and elimination of anemia and acne. For example, clay helps anemia because it contains both types of dietary iron (ferrous and ferric) in an easily assimilated form; it reduces discomfort from allergies by quickly neutralizing allergens that would otherwise produce allergic reactions; and it reduces heartburn and indigestion by absorbing excess stomach acids.

In Our Earth Our Cure, Dextreit writes that clay acts with wisdom - it goes to the unhealthy spot. Used internally, whether absorbed orally, anally or vaginally, clay goes to the place where harm is, there it lodges, perhaps for several days, until finally it draws out the pus, black blood, etc. with its evacuation.
